New 10.1.3 build os355 for XO-1 and XO-1.5
Hi, a new build in our 10.1.3 cycle is available! This fixes the activity updater where a regression was introduced due to switching to the new dotted activity scheme. Please test this thoroughly. If you have a USB-VGA converter you might want to use the XO to run a presentation. Martin has made several fixes in this area. Last but not least, we have updated certain activities. The new versions of Browse and Write fixes two regressions (good that we have Sam to find these). TurtleArt contain the most changes, feedback is highly appreciated here. From the extra activities that are available on the XO-1.5 Jukebox and Physics contain now the latest versions. estoy un poco confuso ya baje el source git://dev.laptop.org/users/bobbyp/bootanim lo he revisado y he colocado mis imágenes modificadas que estan en .png en la carpeta image ahora una vez echo esto, que comando tendría que utilizar para generar el delta, frame00.565, ul_warning.565 para poder colocarlo en la versión os852 F11. F14 os3 development image released (XO-1 and XO-1.5)

Para F11 en uruguay creamos el bootanim a partir de http://download.sugarlabs.org/dextrose/testing/dxo2/rpms/source/olpc-bootanim-2.12-5.dxo4.fc11.src.rpm Dentro de la carpeta images tiene el archivo ppmto565.py el cual se ejecuta al regenerar el rpm Los pasos que seguimos son: - Descomprimir el source - Cambiar las imágenes .png - Cambiar la versión del paquete en el archivo spec - comprimir el source - regenerar el paquete (usando rpmbuild -ba ruta al source) Luego instalamos el rpm resultante con rpm -Uvh olpc-bootanim-XXX.rpm saludos, Esteban. lo que esto haciendo es lo siguiente baje el siguiente enlace y en terminal hice esto git clone git://dev.laptop.org/users/bobbyp/bootanim y entre a la carpeta y fui a image dentro de esta remplace los png por los mios ya modificados ahora afuera del de image hay un archivo que se llama olpc-bootanim.spec la cual lo edite y le cambie el numero de la versión comprimí el archivo y lo llama olpc-bootanim-2.9.1.tar.bz2 ahora ejecute el comando que me enviaste rpmbuild -ba olpc-bootanim-2.9.1.tar.bz2 y el mensaje es el siguiente r...@ubuntu:/home/kevin-benavides/Escritorio# rpmbuild -ba olpc-bootanim-2.9.1.tar.bz2 error: El archivo /home/kevin-benavides/Escritorio/olpc-bootanim-2.9.1.tar.bz2 no parece ser un archivo spec. que estoy haciendo mal ?? Here are a few quick bug reports from my first 20 minutes of usage: == OS == * Despite the initrd optimization and ext4, boot time the same of before: 30 seconds (36 seconds on the first boot, due to ssh keys) * Graphics seem a lot more fluid on the XO-1.5. Not sure why, I like it. * AC plug/unplug events don't have any effect on the battery frame icon. * Automatic power management seem to have improved a lot and is almost unnoticeable. However, can't we disable it while the laptop is on AC? == Sugar == * The spiral view gives an initial impression of using something completely new, yet familiar. * Spurious password prompts at boot. The charging light does not necessarily indicate that there is external power to charge the battery and run the laptop at the same time purely from an external power source. XO's do not presume that the external power source is an AC adapter, allowing a wide range of input tolerances before you damage the computer.
