The other way round: all the changes made in joyride will eventually make their way to a stable build (or be reverted). The update.1 builds are our first candidates for our next stable build series. Its for Opera I think or perhaps for the old flash. A lot of closed source applications need it because they compile once for all Linux platforms they support meaning lowest common denominator.
