Re: [sabayon-dev] Sabayon Release Process Review
Why don't we start to document the process at wiki.sabayon.org? (and only allow admins to edit) I think we should start to formalize the procedure and I can expand on the release tagging steps (I wrote an internal doc long time ago about it) What do you think? Just dump your essay there and start from that -- Fabio Erculiani
Re: [sabayon-dev] Sabayon Release Process Review
I'd formalize everything, and I include the release process within everything. I like the idea. 2012/6/14 Fabio Erculiani lx...@sabayon.org: Why don't we start to document the process at wiki.sabayon.org? Re: [sabayon-dev] Remove hotplug CPU from default kernel config
Did Mali followed the kernel docs instructions on how to deal with interrupt and smp-affinity? http://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/cpu-hotplug.txt http://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/IRQ-affinity.txt Also here is a good article that explains quite well how to operate the irq balancing: http://www.alexonlinux.com/smp-affinity-and-proper-interrupt-handling-in-linux Fabio is right, CONFIG_HOTPLUG_CPU is necessary for suspend to work with SMP (it let turning on and off CPUs). 2012/6/11 Fabio Erculiani lx...@sabayon.org: I don't think we can disable CONFIG_HOTPLUG_CPU, See my comment at bug 3391. -- Fabio Erculiani
[sabayon-dev] nvidia-cuda 4.2 ebuild available: anyone interested?
hello, some time ago I provided by means of bugzilla two ebuilds for the latest versions of nvidia-cuda-sdk and nvidia-cuda-tooklit (https://bugs.sabayon.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3371 and https://bugs.sabayon.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3372). I didn't get any feedback so I'm wondering if I did something wrong submitting them there: is anyone here interested in reviewing them and possibly willing to add them to the main repository? Thanks, Pierangelo Terzulli
