[sabayon-dev] Newbie to git.
I am a sabayon user quite new to using git. How can I download source code from there? Any help appreciated...
Re: [sabayon-dev] Newbie to git.
Well first of all, this is a binary distribution, so all you need to do is equo install git or use Rigo package manager to install it, simple as that.Second thing to think of is: this mailing list is used only for development of Sabayon by bug reporting, or other things that may feedback on Sabayon Linux. Your request for knowledge on this mail list has no place. You may find further knowledge on GIT matter on http://github.com/ (there are dozens of tutorials there which tell you word by word what to do).GIT installation and tutorial isn't Sabayon-development subject, please do consider that. All things said, i wish you good luck on GIT learning. :)Steven Date: Mon, 27 Aug 2012 14:24:27 +0300 From: johnkall...@gmail.com To: devel@lists.sabayon.org Subject: [sabayon-dev] Newbie to git. You are too kind Slawomir, lol. Yeah, I put the 'git' on capital letters so people can really see that i've put them on capital letters.Recursive-ness is a bliss. I don't see much of a problem with that question here, to the extent where do I find the git repositories and the answer to that is: git.sabayon.org - click one you want and look for the clone link.
