Re: [sabayon-dev] app-misc/querypkg 2.2 with download_entropy_packages.sh

2014-11-30 Thread Steven Cristian
So when we will see a Portage rewritten in GO-lang, together with entropy
in GO-lang :P?
Heheheheh, would love to see that and all the gentoo tools with it.

Wow! thats nice! Can we integrate this into equo?

I don't think we should. They two projects serve different purpose (in
general, equo uses the local database; querypkg queries the remote
 server), they are written in different languages (equo - Python;
querypkg - Perl) and are maintained by different people. I think the
projects are fine with the current setup!

Re: [sabayon-dev] New Sabayon daily images, with sabayon-limbo enabled will start being built

2014-11-30 Thread Fabio Erculiani
We will have both regular and dev images in the same daily/ folder.
The dev images will be suffixed with -dev.

I assume these will be in their own folder on the mirrors than or is this

Molecule (which got moved to andromeda), will start building -dev ISO
images (that will be uploaded to mirrors every 3 days) for every DAILY
 image we currently support.

Those -dev ISO images will be built with sabayon-limbo enabled.
This will hopefully help us catching issues before limbo packages hit
 the main repo.
