Re: [sabayon-dev] virtual/ffmpeg dependency if wrong

Is that a dep-rewrite?
Maybe we should just drop it and fix the virtual/ffmpeg ebuild if
needed (still needed by the way?).

Re: [sabayon-dev] Multiple monitor issues on nVidia

2013-04-27 Thread Danilo Pianini
Steps to reproduce:
* Connect a VGA adapter
* Using nvidia-settings, xrandr, or KDE's Display and Monitor, try to
set the extended desktop

Expected results: both monitors are on, the user gets a single extended desktop
Actual results: the main monitor is still on, but the secondary have no signal

Randomly, it works. So try it at least a couple of times if this
procedure works for you.

Tested on a desktop with GTX550Ti and on a laptop with a Quadro
(cannot remember the exact model now).

Rolling back to 304.xx on Quadro didn't solve the issue.

 yes

It would work, but in my opinion a solution that is cheaper is to fix the
rewrite. Is it possible to remove ffmpeg from the Entropy virtual using the
 same method?

I don't see any problem with that.

One question I have, Danilo, do you have Optimus tech on that one?
Thanks,
