Ifconfig seems to be only accessible by user root.

And I hoped for a more direct approach as QNetworkInterface::allAddresses :)

But I will then go with that.

I am searching for a way to get the currently used IP address of the device. 
Is there a Qt-way or some Sailfish/Mer specific API?
