[riot-devel] Open IoT Challenge 2.0
Hi! Many of you will remember the first edition of the Open IoT Challenge, since a team of RIOT developers arrived in third place [1] during the first edition, with the watr.li <http://watr.li/> project! We are back for a second edition, with even bigger prizes this time ($3,000 for the winning team anyone? :-)), so I hope to see several projects based on RIOT among the participants. You can find all the details regarding the challenge at http://iot.eclipse.org/open-iot-challenge. Just like before, the first step is to share with us your project idea, and for that you have until next Monday, Nov 23. A short list of up to 15 proposals will be awarded $150 to help buy the hardware needed for your project. After this date, you will have about 3 months to build your project since the deadline to finalize your project is February 26 next year. Please let me know if you have any questions! [riot-devel] tinyDTLS moving to eclipse.org
Hi, A few weeks ago the tinyDTLS project, currently hosted on SourceForge [1], has been proposed [2] as a new project under the Eclipse IoT umbrella. Since I think this might be interesting in the context of RIOT, I would like to make sure that you guys were aware of this proposal. You can ask to be listed as an « interested party », which is no other commitment than indicating you have a particular interest in seeing tinyDTLS become successful at Eclipse and possibly help make this happen with your contributions :) Cheers, Benjamin [1] http://tinydtls.sourceforge.net/ [2] https://projects.eclipse.org/proposals/tinydtls ___ devel mailing list devel@riot-os.org https://lists.riot-os.org/mailman/listinfo/devel

Sorry if I missed some previous conversations, but what's wrong with BSD 3-clause? Cheers, Ludwig Emmanuel Baccelli schrieb: Hi everyone, I was recently in contact with Wakaama [1] community (part of the Eclipse IoT foundation), and which maintains an open source implementation of LWM2M. More to the point, they told me that the code base [3] is deprecated (it was their repo prior to joining Eclipse), and that their supported codebase is now [2]. They would be very happy if their implementation would be ported to RIOT, and would provide some support for that (they suggest whoever is interested in that contacts them through [4]). I thought this information may be of interest for us, and in particular for GSoC project proposals on this topic. Re: [riot-devel] Wakaama LWM2M
Hi Oleg! Actually, it is dual-licensed under EPL and EDL (BSD).
