I've backported code from Xorg's mga driver in order to manage the Matrox

My patch (793 lines) applies on XFree86 4.6.99.17 (it should on previous
versions) and I've tested it successfully.

Since I think that posting an attachement to this mailing list is not
supported, I can send the patch to anyone requesting it.
devel@ does accept attachments, but your best bet is to post your patch to
[EMAIL PROTECTED], or include it in a Bugzilla report at
http://bugs.xfree86.org.
