Re: [Development] [Releasing] HEADS-UP: Branching from '5.12' to '5.12.1' started

2019-01-18 Thread ekke
noticed that the list of blocker issues for Qt 5.12.1 is reduced to only
2 open issues

so hopefully we can expect Qt 5.12.1 next days

hmm ... probably because the search query has a term "project not in
(...)" and some of the projects in that list aren't public, so Jira only
admits they exist if you're one of those who can see each project. I
guess Jira could handle that by just ignoring those projects when
searching, but when it comes to display the results it displays the
query with names in place of the project numbers and can't map the
private project to a name for you. It should probably fall back to just
listing them as numbers in the display on the page. Alex: worth
reporting as a bug to Atlassian ?

Tuuka: you probably need a positive test in filters you plan to share
publicly; "project in (...)" with a list of publicly-visible projects.
That way, those you share it with can actually use it ...

remove the ,11040 from search string and it works ;-)

Re: [Development] [Releasing] HEADS-UP: Branching from '5.12' to '5.12.1' started

2019-01-08 Thread Tuukka Turunen

Thanks, Jani.

I would like to remind that just like with Qt 5.9 LTS, we aim to have frequent
patch releases of Qt 5.12 LTS. So there is no need to get every possible fix
into Qt 5.12.1 as the Qt 5.12.2 is anyway coming soon, after that Qt 5.12.3 and
so on.

So let's keep pushing bug fixes into the 5.12 branch, it won't be long until
these are part of a patch level release.

Yours,

Tuukka

So from now on '5.12.1' is for soon coming Qt 5.12.1 release and staging
