Can you provide me an example of something I can implement to prove my
abilities?

Well, like I said, we haven't been accepted yet.

But I suggest you have a look on the bug tracker. There are lots of small tasks
that need implementing, or small bugs that need squashing, as well as lots of
huge ones.
https://bugs.freenetproject.org/

There might be something on the wiki too ( http://new-wiki.freenetproject.org )

After you've had a look maybe email about it, or chat with us on IRC.

It is a good idea. It would be a fairly large project so we'd need to be sure
you are a really good student though. But by all means put in a proposal. We'll
need you to fix a small bug or implement a small feature to prove you are a
reasonably capable coder, before we accept you. But as far as I know we haven't
even been accepted into the programme yet ...

I do consider it as a good project, It is my major wish for freenet.

It might be a bit too big, though ? you need to ask toad about that.

Best wishes,
Arne

Hello,
do you still consider a good GSOC project the implementation of transport
plugins to make freenet to run over TCP (and maybe HTTP) and to implement
some steganography techniques to hide the traffic from network analyzers?
