[Dhis2-devs] Bug on Event Capture app (DHIS2.25, R.0a8fe47)

Dear team,


I'm using Event Capture app on DHIS2.25 version. found one bug:

I create a program (without registration) and use it with Event capture
app. In the Event capture app, my account can see program in program
selection box.

But when I change to other computer with the same account or user role, but
I cannot see program name in the list. It also happens if I clear browser
cache. After clearing browser cache, I have to upgrade the program version
in other for it to display in program selection list.

The problem is the end user don't have authority to go to program
management to upgrade program version for first time using or after clear
the cache.

Agree..but unzip seemed to work fine on the command line - I actually
always unzip the .war file before starting.

So this happened after the initial unzip, when I tried starting: java -jar
dhis2-live.jar

Sounds like a broken connection, or damaged zip file? did you try and unzip
it locally, is it working?

Hi,
Usually this means that you entered data or removed data which hides a
field which had data. For example if I enter that a patient is Female and
then given some logic it then displays the "is the patient pregnant option"
which I then enter yes or no. After this I then realise I mistakenly enter
the sex as female when the patient is male. So I correct, it then hides the
pregnant options but only after warning me that its going to blank out the
pregant option data which you entered before as it does for you. So its a
warning not an error unless there is another problem.

You have not provided enough info for the completion problem to get a good
answer.

Hi Stanely,

You have program rules that hide some data elements or sections and you
need to check the actions you implemented, basically when you use hide data
element or section, if you had entered data before in a field hidden by an
given action or entry, then data will be deleted and thats what the error
message you are getting means.

Again if you also user the action "Show error preventing completion", if
you have this and there is an error then you cant complete.

Please review you program rules

tracker capture.I am using DHIS2 2.24 Build version 037a39f.

The error is "Name of DIC was blanked out and hidden by your last action".
Wjat is this error saying.

Secondly after entering data i cant complete the form.
