Thank you Barnabas for this clarification. Sending notification for events
that have been missed is cleary what I am searching.

Re: [Dhis2-devs] Program Stage " Days After due date" Notifications

2018-06-29 Thread Barnabas Akumba
Hello Hakim,

The assumption is that the "Days after due date" notification is for events
that have been missed (i.e. the patient didn't come for the visit). One
wouldn't assume a practical situation where you would want to use that
trigger even when the event has been attended. If you'll want to send
notifications to clients after the completion of a particular stage, it is
better to use the options under "Program stage completion".

[Dhis2-devs] Program Stage " Days After due date" Notifications

2018-06-29 Thread DJIBRIL Hakim
Hello all,
Please Can someone explain how the program Stage notification " Days after
due_date " works.

a. It works *only* if the patient didn't come for the visit ?
b. or doesn't matter if the event_date is filled or not ? in this situation
PLEASE one use case where sending notification based on day after Due_date.

Thank you

[Dhis2-devs] metadata import and export from dhis 2.22 to 2.23

2018-06-29 Thread Nuria Masclans
Good morning,

I have been trying to import dhis 2.22 metadada from one server to another
server that uses dhis 2.23 using import/export app. By selecting
individually the different metadata types, some of them are imported to
2.23 just fine, while some others are imported or upgrades giving conflicts.

Why does these conflicts appear and what do they mean? How can we solve
them?

Thank you in advance,
Núria M.

Re: [Dhis2-devs] metadata import and export from dhis 2.22 to 2.23

2018-06-29 Thread Calle Hedberg
Hi

The way to do this is NOT to export meta-data from one version and import
it into another version - as a general rule that is not supported. It works
in the majority of cases where there's been no changes to the api or the
data model, but it will not work for cases where there's been significant
changes. (off hand, I seem to recall the upgrade from 2.22 to 2.23 was
significant...)

The "safe" way is to
- create a new (local) database instance and copy your 2.22 source database
into that.
- run the upgrade script to 2.23 on the new 2.22 copy, and follow any other
instructions.
- start up the newly upgraded instance, check for integrity violations etc
and make sure everything is running as expected.
- export from the new upgraded instance to your destination 2.23 instance.

Regards
calle

Re: [Dhis2-devs] Tracked entity attributes - handling of zero value records

2018-06-29 Thread Calle Hedberg
Hi,

I have reported it as a bug - presumably in all versions up to 2.30, even
if I've only seen this in 2.27, 2.28, and 2.29 (zero value records have
been automatically removed from the start of Tracker, I guess).
