[Dhis2-devs] Specifications within a Data Element (Tracker)

2018-10-03 Thread Terence Scott
Dear All

I am interested in placing criteria/specifications within a specific data
element. For instance, I have created a DE for a unique ID number to be
entered. However, there are specific codes that I would like to have
entered into this DE (text type DE). For example, the UID should be 1
letter (either 'A', 'D' or 'E') followed by 4 numbers. The user would input
the letter depending on the outcome of the patient and then the numbers.

e.g. I am looking for a code as follows: A0001

Is it possible to put into place a programme rule or any other option (this
is for Tracker) that restricts user input to one of the 3 letters followed
by 4 numbers? Is this at all possible?

I considered creating a DE with Cat options that has the 3 letter code
options available for selection and then a separate DE for the 4 numbers,
but hoped there was a better and more elegant solution.

Thanking you in advance for your help.

Kind regards,
Terence

Re: [Dhis2-devs] [Dhis2-users] Indicators totaling to average rather than sum in pivot tables?

2018-10-03 Thread Elmarie Claasen
Hi Stanley,

No, it has not been resolved. The initial bug reports was turned into a new
feature DHIS2-2380 which is
still pending.

Hi Karen,

Yes this is new feature of 2.28 which unfortunately does not work for sum
indicators where you would like to sum up raw data values. There is
already a Jira issue for it here
 You can vote for it.

pivot tables?

Hi all, I put in a ticket on Jira but am wondering if others have
experienced an issue in 2.29 where pivot tables run with indicators provide
an average of all values in the total column, rather than a sum of the
values?

The table options are correctly set, as are the aggregation options for the
data elements that make up the indicator.

We recently upgraded and this seems to have come with the upgrade.

Thanks,

Karen
