[Dhis2-users] Option of Sharing or restriction of Data element groups and groupsets in pivot table to a group

2013-12-20 Thread Muhire Andrew
Hi all,

We are receiving many requests from services for either migrating or
customizing their reports into DHIS2. which make us to think about expanding
public view or group view on data elements groups or datasets in some reports.
This is tiresome to some of our Users when they want to see only their datasets
in either dataset report or Reporting rate summary.

Now the challenge of managing a big number of Datasets from diffenent services
is that, Some Departments are only interested to see only data related to their
service in pivot table feature, reporting rate summary and Dataset report. This
option is important since most of our countries are using tracker which is
sensitive(Tabular report). I would suggest to make it optional on sharing Data
element group and groupsets through Pivot table and Datasets through reporting
rate summary or Datasets report.

Eg. someone in charge of TB: Make it Optional: to set on either see all or only
see the data elements or groups that belongs to TB units. This will reduce the
scroll down of groups that are unnecessary. Some time people complain to have
this option on their sensitive indicators or data elements.

This can be done using Groups, eg M&E team group: will be able to view all but
some partners are only interested on limited or their indicators and Datasets
in reports. The same applies to individual records through tabular reports.

This will not make data private(optional) but share based on what people want
and reduce complains on some services.

This  option will help us to manage big numbers of datasets and share data
accordingly since DHIS2 is becoming the single reporting tool.

Regards!

Re: [Dhis2-users] Testing Mobile module but no data in data entry

2013-12-20 Thread Muhire Andrew
This + on the code is important, like now in East African countries, one can
use the local number at any country by adding +250, which means + is important.
I am very sure we need the country code with +.

Re: [Dhis2-users] Testing Mobile module but no data in data entry

2013-12-20 Thread Jason Pickering
I would not support this as we need the + to send SMS from our service
provider. I just think DHIS needs to be able to deal with the leading +.
Again,I think a user configurable regex should help to ensure phone numbers
are correct for each implementation.

Re: [Dhis2-users] Testing Mobile module but no data in data entry

2013-12-20 Thread Muhire Andrew
Hi
Our case was that + of the country code, because after removing it, it worked.
Interesting part is that we removed the + on the country code without adding
two zeros but it worked(250 788xx). May be this need to be improved. I
think we need some validations or output messages on these sensitive fields,
like phone numbers.

Here is the error message :No user associated with this phone number. Please
contact your supervisor.

As Knut suggests, i think using integer can solve the problem.

I would think we can easily disallow  a leading + sign, in fact, given that we
start with ISO country code, I think we could require the number to be an
integer. This means that people must avoid parentheses, spaces etc., which I
think is reasonable.

 Hi Marta,

Could you please try either our newest trunk war [1] or our trunk
server [2] with IE8? I can be a bit slow if you have lots of orgUnits on
your user, but for most cases it should be fine (for data entry clerks
etc). If you have users with large amounts of OUs, you could also try our
offline OU-level setting, which means it will only download parts of the
 tree.

We have also fixed a bug with OUST, so it should (hopefully) be working
 100% on IE8 now.

Thanks for checking Marta. I'm not sure if its related to the storage
unit or not, I will try and have a look. I think for 50-100 orgUnits there
should be no problem, which hopefully means that a data entry clerk will be
able to do her or his job without any issues.

I will see if it can be fixed fully, but at least we are one step
 closer.

I have made several IE8 fixes, and backported to 2.13. Could you
try again? I'm not able to get it fully working here, but it could be
because I'm running IE in a virtualmachine with not that much memory

For Sierra Leone demo, only 4 nodes appear for the first level
children, but If I open any of them, the next level is complete.
I didn´t see the error before because for our demo It loads five nodes
at first children level, which i all we have

I cleared the cache but got the same result. Anything else I could try?

Not sure what the problem was for you, Andrew?

I would think we can easily disallow a leading + sign, in fact, given that
we start with ISO country code, I think we could require the number to be
an integer. This means that people must avoid parentheses, spaces etc.,
which I think is reasonable.

Re: [Dhis2-users] [Dhis2-devs] DHIS CSV import error

2013-12-20 Thread Knut Staring
Hi Maimoona,

"Dryrun" means that you can check if your data are ok and what they are,
without actually importing. So when you select Dryrun=yes, nothing should
be imported.

Thanks for reporting the other issue, sounds like something we need to look
into.

 Hello Maimoona,

thanks for reporting. I have tried to reproduce your problem but
could not. What I did on the demo was:

 - Export data in CSV format for Ngelehun 2013-02-01 -> 2013-04-01
 for PHUF 2 form
 - Removed the corresponding data by simply blanking out in the data
 entry form
 - Imported the CSV file

This lead to data re-appearing in the form.

 Some things to check:

 - What does your CSV file look like, does it have values, can you
 please post it?
 - If you already have data in your database and do an export, then
you must remove some of it for the import to have any effect on the
 same
 database.
 - The CSV file is using UIDs, not database ids, category option
combo id to 15 will not work.

 Let us know.

 Lars
