Re: [Dhis2-users] Problems adding apps

2016-02-09 Thread Knut Staring
I think the key is to zip from inside the folder after a select all files.
If you zip just the folder, it creates one level more, and doesn't work.

Re: [Dhis2-users] [Dhis2-devs] Changing Org Unit of TEI

Dear Markus,

If the "referral" interface has the functionality of temporarily and
permanently scheduling visit at a different org unit, that would solve my
issue. And I think in a generic context, the word "Referral" is fine :)

Thanx a lot!

[Dhis2-users] Project ideas for Google Summer of Code 2016.

2016-02-09 Thread Araz Abishov
Dear community,

As you may know, DHIS2 was participating in program called Google Summer of
Code (GSoC) for two years in the row (2013 and 2014). The main idea behind GSoC
is to involve more students in open source software development. From
community’s prospective, it is a great chance to find motivated programmers who
are interested and ready to solve various problems (you can find more
information about GSoC here: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/)

In order to be accepted to GSoC as organization this year, we need to provide a
list of project ideas along with application. As DHIS2 team was always
listening to community needs, we eager to here from you about ideas you can
propose. If you have an project idea, please use this document to write it
down:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ysyZpZTgjLyg0Us6KtU35fZL8mmgyqbvciEtxxhYS60/edit#

Please note, that project itself should not be too complex, since students
won’t have too much time to develop it (about 3 months). Preferably, it should
be an atomic, specific task, for example: android or front-end application for
DHIS2. It could be really nice if you could provide description of the task and
the final result you expect from the student at the end of the project (you can
use task descriptions which are already there in doc as reference). If you are
really interested in tracking and evaluating development of proposed projects,
you can write down your name and email address next to “Mentors” keyword under
project description.

Looking forward to your ideas!

With best wishes,
Former Google Summer of Code student and developer at DHIS2 android team  -

Re: [Dhis2-users] Separate attribute for separate entities

2016-02-09 Thread Lars Helge Øverland
Hi Nayeem,

thanks for the feedback, and this is an interesting question.

A decent workaround if you need to collect the same attribute for two
different programs is simply to define the exact same attribute for those
programs.

We have been considering for a while to associate attributes with tracked
entities. The benefit of this is added flexibility. The downside is added
complexity and potential confusion, e.g. if you have defined attributes for
both the tracked entity and the program - then which ones win? Anyway, if
enough people request this we might do it ;)

regards,

Lars

[Dhis2-users] secure implementations of DHIS2 (HIPAA)

2016-02-09 Thread Mike Nation
We’ve just become aware of DHIS2 and are just beginning to explore it for use
in our organization.

We are subject to HIPAA regulations for most of our data collection. Does
anyone have experience with DHIS2 implementations that have a level of security
that would satisfy HIPAA (256-bit SSL, individualized logins, granular
permissions, administrative controls, etc.)?

We’re also very interested to hear about any implementations that allow for
offline/online use in remote areas with spotty internet connections.

Any information would be much appreciated. Thank you,

Re: [Dhis2-users] Separate attribute for separate entities

2016-02-09 Thread Nayeem Al Mifthah
Dear Abyot

It will good if we can register entities with common profile which are not
associated with any program for same entities. But different profile for
different tracked entity type.

I want to give you one use case and another case where we are interested-

   - We have maternal health program and TB program sometimes one person
   have to enrolled in both of the programs.
   - Also we want to use tracker capture for CRVS, which need to register
   all personnel but not associated with any program.

And we are in a customization phase for equipment tracker.

Re: [Dhis2-users] Separate attribute for separate entities

2016-02-09 Thread Abyot Asalefew Gizaw
Yes, if you want the attributes differentiated based on the entities you
listed then you always have to select a program when trying to register a
tracked entity instance.

You will not be able to differentiate if no program is selected. To manage
this, what you can do is select only those that you think are common - for
example ID - as "attributes in no program".

[Dhis2-users] Problems adding apps

2016-02-09 Thread Marc Garnica
Hi All,
I’m just in my firs touch adding webapps to dhis and I’m having a lot of
problems uploading the zip file.
- Is there any detailed tutorial for adding apps to dhis more extended than the
one in the web?
- Which format do the zip to upload must have?

Thank you very much guys!

Re: [Dhis2-users] [Dhis2-devs] Changing Org Unit of TEI

2016-02-09 Thread Markus Bekken
Hi Pamod!
It is not currently enabled in trunk, but we have made a implementation for
something that might be similar in Palestine. We have made a "Referral" user
interface that allows scheduling a visit at another orgunit than the TEI is
registered at(and another than the logged in user has selected). In this dialog
there is an option to permanently move the TEI(update the TEI orgunit to
whatever the TEI is scheduled for). Would this referral dialog solve your use
case, or is there something different in your case?

Screenshot:

Markus

P.S. The concept of "referral" is a bit patient-file specific - if anyone can
suggest a more generic term it would be most welcome.

Could you share your full payload? it shouldn't be too big.

Did you also test against 2.22? was it working there?

Are you exporting both optionSets -and- options? if not, all that is inside
the optionSets are the references to options, not the actual options.

Hi Morten,

We are exporting both Option sets and options as well. Basically, making an
API call - to export and import metadata (GET and POST call respectively)
(http://./api/metadata) .

Thank you.

[Dhis2-users] Metadata Import of option sets not working

2016-02-09 Thread Archana Chillala
Hi,

We have two instances of DHIS. Metadata is exported from one instance and
imported into the other in the form of JSON file. But, while importing
metadata, option set is imported but not the options within it. We are
currently using DHIS version 2.21 revision number 21021.

We have import conflicts mentioned as follows:

"type": "OptionSet",
 "importConflicts": [
   {
 "object": "Test options",
 "value": "Unknown reference to IdentifiableObject{id=0,
uid='null', code='1', name='option 1', created=null, lastUpdated=null}
(Option) on object IdentifiableObject{id=73, uid='fvm4lIOVDnY',
code='null', name='Test options', created=Tue Feb 09 12:14:03 IST 2016,
lastUpdated=Tue Feb 09 12:14:27 IST 2016} (OptionSet)."
   },
   {
 "object": "Test options",
 "value": "Unknown reference to IdentifiableObject{id=0,
uid='null', code='2', name='option 2', created=null, lastUpdated=null}
(Option) on object IdentifiableObject{id=73, uid='fvm4lIOVDnY',
code='null', name='Test options', created=Tue Feb 09 12:14:03 IST 2016,
lastUpdated=Tue Feb 09 12:14:27 IST 2016} (OptionSet)."
   }
 ]

Is this a bug? A similar issue was reported as a bug on launchpad for 2.18
version.
Here's the link - https://bugs.launchpad.net/dhis2/+bug/1434035

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

[Dhis2-users] Tracker Capture Greyed out Input Boxes

2016-02-09 Thread Pamod Amarakoon
Hi,

Is there any particular reason why input boxes related to data elements
grey out in tracker capture. I have noticed this randomly in TEIs. At times
same record is editable in Firefox while it's disabled in Chrome. Audit
history is also not available when its greyed out.

I don't observe any errors in console either.

Any idea what's causing this?
I'm on 2.22 build 21808

Thank you

[Dhis2-users] Changing Org Unit of TEI

2016-02-09 Thread Pamod Amarakoon
Dear All,

Is it possible to move a TEI to a different org unit. This is applicable
when a TEI moves to a different area physically and needs to be enrolled
and followed up in the same program while preserving the existing event

Thank you.
