Hi Knut,
when you say limited chart types - which chart types do you need? Can you post
a mockup of a chart / type you would like to see?

Lars

2.23 can already display youtube videos, so would it be easy to also display
Resources of type image? Or do we have to make a wrapper app (for each such
image)?

Re: [Dhis2-users] Exporting without unnecessary tables

2016-05-05 Thread Jason Pickering
This script is actually quite out of date, as it does not exclude the
analytics tables, but rather the deprecated data mart tables.

pg_dump -T aggregated* -T analytics* -T completeness* -T _* -O $dbname |
gzip > $backupfilename

is usually what I use, which will also exclude the resource tables, which
may or may not be desired.

Also, not explicitly including the owner can also be useful with the "-O"
parameter which is useful if you are restoring the database to a system
with perhaps different ownership from the original database.

Jason

Since the aggregation queries are not there anymore is it possible to get

[Dhis2-users] Updating Chart and Pivot table favorites after upgrade from 2.19 to 2.21

2016-05-05 Thread Wilson, Randy
We've created a lot of chart and pivot table objects in our disease
surveillance and data warehouse instances of DHIS-2 that we have arranged
on dashboards. It seems that after the upgrade of the system, something
has changed in the favorites tables and they no longer display in the
dashboards (the maps seem to display fine).

Does someone know what has changed so that we can try to upgrade them
through the backend rather than having to re-create every object? This is
at least the 2nd time we have had to re-create them over the past 2 years.
Unfortunately when we try to open the objects none of the parameters
display, so we have to recreate them from scratch.

Thanks,

[Dhis2-users] version 2.23 Tracker issues

2016-05-05 Thread hiattt
We're trying to configure a tracker programme using the 2.23. We can configure
it okay, but can't seem to change the period range as the << and >> buttons are
greyed out.

[cid:image003.jpg@01D1A5C6.EEB85320]

Stage is repeatable monthly for this example but the same problem also happens
when it's yearly. For monthly, you can only select the months from that year.
The left and right arrows are disabled.

We tried to see if the same problem exists on the demo site, but this had more
issues where we couldn't actually select the programme.

[cid:image002.jpg@01D1A5C6.EEB85320]

Is the issue on the demo site a possible bug? For the previous issue, is there
something we need to configure?

Thanks,
Tom

When trying to create a new data element, if I mistakenly select
tracker as the domain type, then change back to aggregate, I can no longer

Understand the need for this to not be configurable if tracker is

 Using 2.23 build 22882.

2016-05-05 Thread Morten Olav Hansen
Well, you can add the same widget multiple times, and then on initial load
just show a simple selection box. If you want to make it more fancy, you
could attach the possible images to a system settings using base64'd data
urls.

If it's worth a blueprint or not, I don't know. You can always create it :)
you still would have to deal with image upload somehow, either on the disk
using filestore, or base64.

Re: [Dhis2-users] Unable to select aggregation operator

2016-05-05 Thread Mark Polak
Hey Nick,

Thanks for reporting. You are right, this is not like it is supposed to be.

@Prosper We do not have such smart logic in place (Perhaps we should have
though, but as far as i'm aware it's currently not there)

[Dhis2-users] Displaying images (resources) in the dashboard

2016-05-05 Thread Knut Staring
Hello team,

Given the limits of the current charting solution (no selection of (the
rather dull) colors), few types of charts etc, I have a request to be able
to import charts made externally (with Excel or other tools) for display in
the dashboard.

2.23 can already display youtube videos, so would it be easy to also
display Resources of type image? Or do we have to make a wrapper app (for
each such image)?
