Hi David

To be able to look into this, we need the error from your server logs. Do
you have access to them? When this happens, there should be a long trace of
what caused the error.

HI Antonio,
There is a lot to learn. I would recommend that you start with the free
online fundamentals course
 and
continue to read through the learning materials listed on the UiO site

Hello Olav. Thanks for the very quick reply! This was indeed the problem. I have to say it's very hard to get started with this system. Before I tried to find the difference between tracker and aggregate types in the user manual but I couldn't find it. I (wrongly) assumed I needed trackers since a lot of my dimensions are values that cannot be aggregated anyway.I really appreciate your help. [Dhis2-users] Data elements not showing in data set creation view

2017-06-29 Thread Jesus Solano-Roman
Hello.

Hopefully someone can help me understand this behavior. I've attached
pictures showing I've created a series of data elements, but when I try to
create a dataset, they are not listed under the available datasets. I've
made sure this user has power user clearance and the orgunit assigned to
him.

Is this behavior expected? How can I fix this?

Thanks for the help.

Re: [Dhis2-users] Predictors for "carry forward" and cohorts

2017-06-29 Thread Jim Grace
Hi Olav and Nick,

Thanks, that's neat. These are uses we never thought of for predictors!

There are no limits on how far back you can go with sequential and skip
sample counts, so I think your technique for bringing forward cohorts
should be good.

Cheers,
Jim

Re: [Dhis2-users] Predictors for "carry forward" and cohorts

2017-06-29 Thread Olav Poppe
Thanks Nick, I think you describe a potentially «generic» approach to copying
data N months forward which I didn’t think of! Essentially setting the
sequential sample count to N and the skip count to N-1 (or N+1 and N - will
have to test). If there aren’t any limits in how many months back you could go,
this could take care of any cohort period, e.g. 12, 24, 36 etc.

Olav

Re: [Dhis2-users] Predictors for "carry forward" and cohorts

2017-06-29 Thread Shurajit Dutta
Sorry!

I thought about this for a second again. For 6 months I think it's more
like this

Period type = Monthly
Annual sample count = 0
Sequential sample count = 5
Sequential skip count = 4

This would eg. take data only from January 2017 to fill in the June 2017
cohort.

As far as I can tell from some limited testing, 1) should work as it is now
by setting sequential sample count to 1 and annual sample count to 0. You
could then for example copy ending balance for May 2017 to starting balance
June 2017 etc. (note: I don’t mean to start a discussion how to collect

[Dhis2-users] Limitation in Nutrition Analysis using z score

2017-06-29 Thread Muhire Andrew
Dear DHIS2 Community,
We are using the dhis2 in Tracking children under 2 data to monitor child
growth and we are using the Tracker to collect these individual data and their
visit on monthly basis to the Health facility. This is towards monitoring
children nutrition status.
Looking at DHIS2, the analysis part does not satisfy the nutrition analysis as
we need to use z score etc etc. Another difficult part get the file that shows
children by number of visit.
Did anyone tried this?___
