[Dhis2-users] Translation Problem with Event reports

2017-07-12 Thread Georgi Chakarov
Hello all!

I have a translation issue using Event reports. All data elements and answer
options are translated in French and I see them in French while selecting the
dimensions in Event reports.
However, once in the report itself (or on a dashboard) all data elements are
displayed in English. Event reports simply fail to display the translated
versions.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this issue? I am testing with
DHIS2 v. 2.26 build: 29748c1

See screenshot below for more details of this issue

[Once the data element gets in the report it is displayed in English. French
version would not work. Same thing in
dashboards.][cid:image009.png@01D2FB6C.52CB9880][Data element in French in
selected
items][cid:image012.png@01D2FB6C.52CB9880][cid:image013.jpg@01D2FB6C.52CB9880]

Thanks in advance for your help!

Georgi

Re: [Dhis2-users] Temporarily close an org unit

2017-07-12 Thread Schroffel, Heidi
We only closed org units and haven’t had the need to reopen it, so we haven’t
encountered this yet. But grateful for that consideration in case we do! Sorry
I don’t have more helpful info to offer.

Hi Heidi,

Thank you for clarifying the issue with data entry.

Did you also have an issue with temporarily closing org units? The problem that
I see is that once and org unit is closed, it has to be re-opened, since the
"Closed" date cannot be removed. By moving the Opening Date, you lose the
ability to see the historical data from that facility in analytics prior to the
Opening Date.

Best,
Tamara

units unavailable for data entry until version 2.28.

I can only think of either unlinking the data set until you want to reopen the
org unit or just training users on not using the org unit for a certain time
period.

Dear All,

I am looking for a solution for suspending or temporarily closing an org unit
and then re-opening it, so that the org unit is not factored into data
completeness reporting during the time it is closed.

Is there a way to close a facility for a short period of time, then re-open it,
but also have it be included in historical data analysis for the time period
that it was open, prior to re-opening it?

If not, has anyone found a workaround?

In addition, is there a way to block data entry for a closed facility after the
closing date? Based on documentation, that was my understanding, but when I
tested it in version 2.24, I was able to enter data after the Closed date.

Thanks for the help!

Best,
Tamara

[Dhis2-users] Finding the days between 2 events (different program stages) in the same program

2017-07-12 Thread Shurajit Dutta
Hi there,

Am wondering if it is possible to use d2:daysBetween (or weeks, years, etc)
to find the difference between two event dates in the same program (but
belonging to different program stages). I know you can use the program
stage name/id in the filter, but in this case can I need to specify the
event dates so it knows which dates to find the difference between. Can I
prefix these dates somehow?

In this use case I have a malaria program where cases are identified (stage
1). In stage 2 an investigation is performed, ideally this should be done
within 2 days of case identification. Essentially am looking for a count of
these events that meet this criteria.

Thanks,
Nick

Re: [Dhis2-users] Bulk removing DEs and Orgunits

2017-07-12 Thread Markus Bekken
Hi there,

Here is a sql function for deleting the whole or parts of your orgunit tree:

https://github.com/dhis2/dhis2-utils/blob/master/resources/sql/delete_orgunittree_with_data.sql

If you create this function, you can invoke it with
select delete_orgunittree_with_data('');

Best regards,
Markus
