Different orgunits no problem. If same, you should look into Events instead.

[Dhis2-users] Teenage Pregnancy DataSet for Schools

2017-11-14 Thread gerald thomas
Dear All,
I created a Teenage Pregnancy dataSet whose data should be captured
from schools. Since we have multiple schools per Chiefdom; i created a
data element 'school' in the form of a text string. During data entry,
when a school had been entered for a particular chiefdom, it don't
accept another school again.

Please can someone help.

Hello,
thank you for your time and response. Now i am able to save my dataset on
daily basis but just one time a day.
My dataset is actually a training form,, so it is possible to conduct
multiple trainings on same day.So is it possible to save same dataset
multiple time for same or different organisation unit on same date.

This comes from the fact that you usually only enter monthly data

Re: [Dhis2-users] Data Element Version??

2017-11-14 Thread Jim Grace
Along the same lines, I was thinking of attribute option combinations. The
problem is the same; they should be summable. You could set up some users
to have access to only the final ones used in reporting. But any users with
access to both could inadvertently and confusingly see the sums.

[Dhis2-users] Data Element Version??

2017-11-14 Thread Adam Preston
Greetings from Colorado, USA.

I have a project that would like to maintain different versions of the data in
DHIS2. For example, they have a bunch of data elements they are getting
externally and these would be considered as one version, they do a bunch of
cleaning and this would be another version. So when running the reports they
would select the version of the data. How can I do this?

Re: [Dhis2-users] [WISCENTDs] Program indicators

2017-11-14 Thread Markus Bekken
Hi Lise!
1. You are right. It turned out there is a small problem with the expression
validator, but the program indicator should still work. A fix is checked in for
the , please let me know if the indicator does not work.
2. If you are on 2.27 or later you can use program rules instead. There is a
program rule action type that is called "Display text" and another one called
"Display key value pair" that is used to show a dynamic text in your program.
The dynamic text can be a program rule variable, and in configuring this
variable you can choose wether you want it to contain code or name for option
sets.

[Dhis2-users] Tracker programs and unique IDs

2017-11-14 Thread Edward Robinson
What strategies have others used to ensure that tracked entities have unique
IDs in the absence of an existing unique identifier?

For people, we're considering a combination of name, date of birth (or
estimated date of birth), parent's names, place of birth, etc.
We're also considering a soundex like search feature to find people (since
names and places could be misspelled).

The thing I'm not sure of is what is the best strategy to have the system
auto-generate this ID in the absence of a national ID number? i.e. The system
requires minimum information and generates the ID based on the entered data.
Does this have to be implemented using a custom form for data entry with API
interface for POST/GET?

Thanks!

[Dhis2-users] Previous releases in playground

2017-11-14 Thread Jasper Timm
Hi there,

It appears the previous releases running at play.dhis2.org have not been
updated.

I assume given the current stable release is 2.28, Release 1 should be 2.27
and Release 2 should be 2.26.

Would someone be able to take care of that?

Thanks,

Hi Isaiah

Not really. The actual requirements are very much dependent on the
context of use - number of users, number of orgunits, tracker vs
aggregate etc.

If you are talking about something that will just run on your laptop,
then I think the very minimum you might get away with is about 2G RAM
but that would only do for a very small database.
