I think its crucial for what you want.

Not sure how the votes help but please add your vote to that issue.

Thank you

Hi Ned,

That's quite an interesting approach. Great to see.
If you need to add basic authentication details, where would you add it in
the example query format you sent?

Thanks,

Re: [Dhis2-users] New user guide

2017-08-17 Thread Ime Asangansi
Dear Nasiru,

We are happy to guide you through the process of starting up with DHIS2 as
an M system for your organization.
And we can conduct training for your teams in all W4H states as well.

We can setup a demonstration installation with a sample form for your
evaluation to allow you understand the system better, with free cloud
hosting for you for the first 6 months since you are a nonprofit program in
Nigeria.

If you are in or near Abuja, we can meet up at your convenience or you can
call me from Kano.

Best regards,
Ime

[Dhis2-users] Free DHIS2 Training for Nigeria-based NGOs - Abuja, Feb 22, 2017

2017-02-09 Thread Ime Asangansi

Dear colleague,

Nonprofit organizations in Nigeria play a major role through their
healthcare delivery, prevention and advocacy programs.
However, they typically struggle to manage the M / MERL / HIS aspects
of their projects and are generally not able to keep up with best
practices and new appropriate technologies.
This shouldn't be, especially as program effectiveness, efficiency and
funding often depend and need robust data for decisions and reporting -
and there are great tools such as DHIS2 that meet these needs.

To help support the ecosystem of nonprofits in Nigeria, ehealth4everyone
has designed a free DHIS2 Training series.
This is in keeping with our mission to make digital health tools
available and accessible to everyone, especially those in low resource
settings.

This activity is self-funded and as such we do not have enough room for
more than 20 persons. Apply soon, as spaces are limited.

Apply at http://ehealth4everyone.com/dhis2-training/

Share with your colleagues working at NGOs in Nigeria.

Best regards,
Ime Asangansi MD, PhD (Informatics)

[Dhis2-users] https://digitalhealth.institute/ Re: Online DHIS2 Training Resource

2016-05-26 Thread Ime Asangansi

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for this great work! This is really rich!

We've been working on a couple of free courses on various areas of
digital health, including DHIS2 - for the global digital health learning
platform - https://digitalhealth.institute/

At the Digital Health Institute (DHI), we believe that digital health
education will help create new futures. It is common knowledge that the
futures we all envisage for digitally-enabled health care systems can
not be achieved without a critical mass of
knowledgeable health-care workers and Health IT professionals. Yet poor
access to structured content and low capacity and skills have remained a
major problem and impediment, especially in low and middle income countries.
We aim to fix this problem through online and offline digital health
training content and courses.

In the coming months, we will be uploading our free DHIS2 online courses.

Sarah, thanks to your Creative Commons license, we plan to upload yours
as well, and we'll be designing and setting up a series of quizzes, as
some sort of certification process, in partnership with some
universities. Keep you posted on that.

We are also interested in new partnerships and would be excited to
collaborate. Particularly, we are interested in collaborations with
organizations in the Health IT value chain - including but not limited
to universities and schools, innovative organizations, Health IT
consultants and users such as Ministries of Health, NGOs, private
companies, organizations and eHealth enthusiasts.

As soon as things are ready in few weeks, we would be inviting beta
users onto the https://digitalhealth.institute/ platform.

Please write to me privately at i...@ehealth4everyone.org for inquiries,
suggestions and any interests in partnerships. We'd be excited to discuss.

Thanks and best regards,
Ime

it has been removed as it was buggy and from what I understood not much in use.
