Re: [Dhis2-users] Data Import

2017-10-05 Thread Amone Junior. Felimone
Hi Vlad

When i use the Data import tool i change the schema to name, anad the error
remain, and with the web API i also get the same error
Now i replaced all names with UID in my exported CSV and now the import

Felimone, are you sure it is not data element scheme, because if you are
logging in as a super user, you should not have permission issues. Does
your input file have UIDs? As Gerald mentioned, UID is the default coding

Felimone,

Are you getting it for all data elements, or just the header? Because, it
is expected for the header. Otherwise, make sure you are using data element
schema correctly - default is UID, if you are using code or name, make sure
to select it. Next thing would be to look at permissions.

Re: [Dhis2-users] Data Import error - Data element not found or not accessible

2017-02-15 Thread Knut Staring
Seems the format has changed slightly for OrgUnit import in 2.26, so
perhaps that is also the case for Data Elements. Here is what David Hagan
wrote:

"I had the same error/issue this morning following the documented column
format for organisation unit CSV import using 2.26. When I removed one of
the 'blank' columns before the URL column (e.g. comments), the import
worked successfully (including the GIS coordinates). This suggests that one
of the documented columns is no longer expected as part of the csv import
function for 2.26."

[Dhis2-users] Data Import does not allow a combination of identifier types in 2.22

2016-04-20 Thread Laura E. Lincks
Version:2.22
Build revision:21927

We are testing an import of data which we have routinely done in 2.20. We
are importing a csv file with the following columns:

dataelement
period

orgunit

categoryoptioncombo

attributeoptioncombo value

attributeoptioncombo is blank

dataelement and

categoryoptioncombo contain UIDs
orgunit contains Code

In 2.20 we were able to set the Data element ID scheme and the Org unit ID
scheme to what we wanted without issue. In 2.22 we have the same options on
the front end but when attempting to import a csv file with dataelement
scheme set to UID and orgunit scheme set to Code, the import fails. If I
take the same data file and convert the orgunits to the appropriate UID and
then import, it succeeds.

It appears that the option exists in 2.22 but is ignored when performing
the import. Is this intentional? Perhaps it was corrected in a later build?

Thanks in advance.

[Dhis2-users] Data import - with completeness

2014-10-22 Thread sumudu weerasinghe
Dear All,

I need to import my data from one instance to another instance . Data was
export from first instance as CSV format and then import to second instance
through CSV data import.

In my first instance data set was* completed* , but after importing to
new instance it shows as *incomplete*. So reporting rate summary give wrong
impression.

Is there way of export and import data with completeness?

Best regards,

Hi,

There is no straightforward way to do this at the moment but an improvement in
2.17 takes care of importing complete dataset registrations via the API –
details here
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/dhis2/+spec/complete-registrations-exchange

Alternatively, you could use an update script to populate the
completedatasetregistration table based on the datavalue table – the draw back
here is that you lose some data related to registerin user and dates.

Re: [Dhis2-users] Data import to a Dataset linked to a combination of categories

2014-07-23 Thread Maheed Ramadan
Hi Lars,

Thanks very much for considering this issue and including it in the next
version. I will check it and see how it works.

In relation to this bug/fix, there is one place that should also be fixed. This
is when you navigate to a Dataset (configured with an attribute category
combo), then try to Get PDF for Data entry. It turns out that the generated PDF
is missing the option to select the attribute combination. It only includes the
PERIOD ORG Units.

It will be perfect if this can also be resolved in 2.16 because using PDF
method for importing data is also very important and useful.

On last question. Any idea when will 2.16 be released?

Thank you again for your continuous support.

Best Regards,

Maheed

part of 2.16. You can try it from the CI server in 40 min:

  Dear DHIS users/developers,

As you know, we have a feature in DHIS that allows a dataset to be linked
 to a “Combination of categories”.

In the data entry form, these category combinations will be rendered as
dropdown lists in addition to the Org Unit and period.

These category combinations are configured as “Attributes” so they could
be linked to the dataset in that way.

This is a very good feature and works well from the web user interface
 data entry forms.

However, if we want to import data using xml/csv file, this doesn’t work
as needed. That is because the import template does not support any
category combinations defined in the dataset. It only works if the dataset
is configured with the “default” category combination.

My question è is there any way that we can import data to this kind of
dataset and set the values of the category combination attributes from the
 input file (xml/csv).

Has anyone faced this issue and found a solution for it? If it is it a bug
in the system, do you know if there is any plan to fix it?

 Awaiting your feedback please…

Note that I am using the latest version of DHIS 2.15 Rev. 15181

 Thanks,

 Maheed

 Hi Rodolfo,

yes we definitely plan to implement an API for the tracker part of the
system. This implies that you will be able to import and export tracker
data. This is a pretty large task, we haven't decided exactly for which
release it will done, but likely for 2.13.

Hi - we are using the Metadata and Data import facility in our

Are there any plans for developing an import option for Tracker? It will
be particularly useful (and easier to implements, at least to start with)
for Events without registration.I read on the blueprints for 2.12 the
development of API for tracker - perhaps that will be the start for having
an import function on the tracker side?

 Just an idea...
