TS2000 and works fine except that it appears to cause a mode beep
(e.g. "U" for USB in CW every second !  I guess I could turn off beep
functions in the TS2000 but the beeps are useful at other times.

You asked what modes DX-Buddy knows.
I am afraid: none.

But if you want a scenario like this:
Radio plus MultiPSK plus DX-Buddy in the cold shack.
While you use your laptop in the warm living-room using a 2nd instance  
of DX-Buddy as a remote control for all the good thing in the shack -  
then this is it. And it can tell you what broadcast station is  
transmitting in any desired language. It can work with utility lists  
and many things more you can discover if you either look at www.dx-buddy.net 
  or you download the program and the manual and find out if this is a  
toy you ike,


And it is available for Windows, Linux AND OSX.
