@Kai,
By kids i mean the whole range of kids, who are interested in reading
and hearing stories with pictures, with and without the help of their
parents. Thanks for the link to the earlier IXDA discussion by Cindy
Chastain.

Yes sesamestreet.org has a pretty neat design.

[IxDA Discuss] Colors and Usability

Esteeemed members,

I have two information requests.

1) Can you please share some literature on usage of colors and
usability.

2) Also can you please share your knowledge on whether a color affect
the download speed of a website. For example does a white background
page load faster than a black background page. Or doesnt it make any
difference?

Hi Sachin,

In such a scenarion i would go for  - a pretty big text box followed
by a button labeled Search and place these elements in the global
navigational area ie, in the header part.

   - |Textfield for the entire number|
