I use a mailing address 
ravivundava...@yahoo.com
which is not able to receive mails, and I have given up after mailing Yahoo for 
help for weeks. I can do every thing except receiving mails, which I find is 
also essential for unsubscribing from mailing lists.

Thanks to Tyler Mitchell, that I am receiving mails on my new yahoo id
ravivundavall...@yahoo.com
for GRASS, Qgis, OSGeo Discuss, etc

But the following lists may be annoyed from getting bounce notices, but as I 
explained above, I am helpless.
They are
PostGIS, ICA (International cartographers association)

[OSGeo-Discuss] pycsw 0.1.0 released

The pycswteam announces the release of pycsw 0.1.0. This is the first 
release of the project towards version 1.0.0.


pycswis an OGC CSW server implementation written in Python.
pycswimplements clause 10 (HTTP protocol binding (Catalogue Services for 
the Web, CSW)) of the OpenGIS Catalogue Service Implementation 
Specification, version 2.0.2.


pycsw allows for the publishing and discovery of geospatial metadata.   
Existing repositories of geospatial metadata can be exposed via  OGC:CSW 
2.0.2.
pycswis Open Source, released under an MIT license, and runs on all 
major platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X).

   * support for ISO Metadata Application Profile 1.0.0
