If you are thinking about becoming a charter member, it is likely you
would also want to add yourself to the list of OSGeo Advocates:

If so, I suggest adding yourself.

For existing OSGeo Advocates, I'd encourage you to review your current

Dear Cameron,

Thank you for the reminder. The invitation to add an entry to the OSGeo

CRO after nomination. I'm thinking in adding this kind of invitation to
add/update the OSGeo Advocate profile in the invitation to vote e-mail,

Registering on the OSGeo Advocates page is not mandatory for our
existing Charter Members or for the Charter Members candidates. It's
just an invitation. People are free to ignore that invitation.

Just a remark. I know different people who have done a lot for OSGeo
and the larger FOSS4G world, but who are not eager to put their name
under
OSGeo Advocates are authoritative OSGeo personalities who have
volunteered to talk on behalf of the OSGeo foundation. Advocates
should be able to speak well, even better if they are entertaining. .

For our charter members I believe we should draw from a larger group
than people considering themselves to speak well and authorative.

Kind Regards,
Johan
