Thanks Jeff. Looks good now, at least for GRASS GIS.

Hi Vaclav,

I've added the GRASS GIS Addons project to the OSGeo organization on
OpenHub, thanks for pointing that out.

Please let me know if anything else needs changing.

Re: [OSGeo-Discuss] code of conduct: another real case

2015-09-19 Thread Peter Baumann
Hi Jeff,

many thanks for undoing, and for the clarification. This was exactly what I was
asking for, nothing else.

As Bruce stated, I highly value you personally as well as your relentless work
for and with OSGeo to steer the tall ship, and by no means I was implying
malice. I was somewhat upset by the community reaction of "come on, it's not so
bad" (which I found unilateral compared to other occasions).

On my side, I will remove mentioning of the case from our incubation history
tracking.

Also, I agree that both sides have tempered up in this discussion. Thanks to
your settlement of the root cause we might all reach out hands now and consider
it settled.

thanks again,
Peter

Thanks Patrick. Your words are like honey to me :-)

For all of you not having facebook (from an addicted facebook user) I want to
let you know that some of you were mentioned (and appear) in my key note and
thanks (without permission, there was no time to ask you - sorry sorry). And
for the people not mentioned, well, sorry again, there was not enough room in

“No good deed goes unpunished!” What?

You are getting an award for all your good work!

What’s this world coming to? Well, it’s about time!!!

Maria, you are being recognized for a long and illustrious history of
magnificent leadership for GIS solutions, the kind of open solutions that not
only generously benefit the world community, but also challenge us by putting
our feet directly on shoulders of those giants (yourself!) who care so much
about what we can accomplish by working together.

Thanks for all your love, your passion for excellence and your beautiful *open
spirit,* at once a gift and also a challenge to the open spirit in us all. We
dearly need your leadership! Good luck with the rest of your journey!

Thank you Suchith and thanks to all members of this generous community.

This is an award that I want to share with all FOSS4G Educators and GeoForAll
members.

And now, as Patrick recalled me in the last mail he sent me "you really have to
make the world a better place!"

And we'll do that!

A warm hug!

Maria
