Big  thank you. You, Maria and the whole team of amazing students have been 
truly inspirational.  I have seen this Europa challenge initiative grow with 
great happiness. We are grateful for your contributions to the OpenCitySmart 
ideas . On behalf of GeoForAll, i want to publically thank you for all your 
help and efforts. Your efforts for Open Principles in Education will have long 
term impact globally.

Happy new year to my OSGeo family.

The Free Software Foundation Europe (fsfe) just released an interesting 
whitepaper, that we should all take a moment to read.  It's very forward 
thinking, right down to the idea of creating Open Science prizes (sound 
familiar?).  Well done.
