Re: [OSGeo-Discuss] Fwd: Nomination for Natraj Vaddadi
Dear CRO, Strong +1 of Natraj's nomination as Charter Member. I recently conducted joint workshop with Natraj on Open Source Web and Mobile GIS in Thailand which was very well received by participants from industry/academic/government. We plan to conduct more such trainings especially for spreading FOSS4G in the Thai geospatial industry. Re: [OSGeo-Discuss] Fwd: Nomination for Vinayaraj Poliyapram
Dear All, I second the nomination of Vinay and strongly support to welcome him as OSGeo Charter Member. I have worked with him in Japan while he was doing his graduate schooling under Venka-sensei. He is using/extending FOSS4G for his academic work. He regularly gives workshops and talk on various OSGeo projects. He has worked very hard to promote OSGeo and I want to thank him for this. [OSGeo-Discuss] [Election 2016] Board Nomination for Nicolas Bozon (re-send)
Hi all, I would like to express my strong support for the candidature of Nicolas Bozon (Nick) for the upcoming board election. Apart from being multi-talented (designer, developer, documenter user), I found him to be very approachable. What struck was his patience, lucid talking and logical approach in explaining technical and non-technical issues to me when I was new to the OSGeo community. Nick would be a great asset to the OSGeo board and his special talents in design, marketing and branding can greatly help in further accelerating the growth of OSGeo.
