Where is it the best place for a report : annual report only, journal only, both of them ? I could write a 2007 overview of the Francophone Local Chapter for the Annual Report and another one (2008 focus) for the journal. Hi Tyler, OSGeo-India is a hub of activity. I have earlier reported about our endeavour upto July-2007. Since then so much is done. I will offer an article on behalf of OSGeo India soon for journal-4. Hi everyone, To sum up the activity of our first full year, the board has asked me to help coordinate production of an annual report. The report is aimed at capturing information from the whole spectrum of OSGeo committees, local chapters and projects -- which has grown into a really long list. This note is just a heads-up that I will be in touch with many of you about contributing reports for your project, committee or chapter. To date, projects and committees have not be required to contribute regular reports, but this report really needs as much input as possible to be useful. There will be some templates available for contributing reports that will go into the full document. I've put together a rough outline of the basic set of reports as well as the contact I will harass for help. If your name is on there and it should be someone else, please change it and let them know: http://wiki.osgeo.org/index.php/Annual_Report_2007 Also, if you see areas or topics missing from the list, please add it or let me kjnow. 2007 was such a great year and lots has happened, so I look forward to collecting the material and think it will be really exciting to have this report available.
