My iTunes Party Shuffle plugin can already do this. http://www.jamescraig.co.uk/SlimServer Unfortunately Apple have not included Genius in the AppleScript/COM interface to iTunes so you can't initiate a new genius mix from SlimServer, which would be a nice feature. Re: [slim] Canceling Folder Repeats
I think you're selecting 'play all' and the squeezecentre is playing the files and then the playlist file. If you just select the playlist file only it will play just once. If I'm right, considering it's a minor hassle to scroll to the bottom of the song files and select the playlist file everytime, hopefully a seasoned vet here can tell us how to avoid having to do this - without duplicating the folder structure to split the two different file types. [slim] Sync a split second off between SB2 and Boom
Usually sync works perfectly, but a couple times (like this morning) it is a split second off. I have tried stopping both players and unsyncing and then resyncing. Does it help to start iPeng w/o WiFi enabled once and then restart it with WiFi on (on the iPod/iPhone)? Is this an iPhone? There's an issue with iPhone not correctly determining the correct network when WiFi and 3G is available (this causes it to hang for a minute in a reconnect loop with certain routers when waking up from standby). Will be fixed in an upcoming 1.1.1 release. In that case probably turning off the wireless network could help. -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote, at penguinlovesmusic.com pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=62245 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
