I don't believe you can get perfect sync over the Internet. Yes I have a souround processor and digital xover so my main stereo has delay but you are never really equdistant to all your speakers so tuning in a good compromise is a bit tricky . [slim] Squeezebox Touch + Napster Album Covers

Happy you figured it out and that the ZONES feature works with ASIO. To enable the ZONES feature you need to add -DZONES to the CFLAGS= line in the makefile. There are build instructions on the wiki (see my sig), however they are out of date for v1.2 as the windows binary now supports all 3 audio drivers and more out of date for trunk. I plan to enable ZONES in trunk soon. I am running Spotify Tricode plugin off a dedicated netbook as a server. I have the squeezeplayer running off a dedicated Droid X whose sole purpose is the run the orangesqueeze app. My network consists of 3 squeezebox radios.I set them to all sync. The netbook and 2 radios are connected to a gigiabit wired network. One radio and the droid X are on a dedicated router (with no other Access points on the channel.) Both radios have great signal. The squeezeplayer negatively affects the rest of radios when using spotify. When a spotify song first starts, everything starts normally, but within a second the droid X will begin to start popping and randomly going fast and slow throughout the entire song. Sometimes it will cause the next track to begin, which then causes the others to do the same. Sometimes it causes all the radios to just stop. [slim] Squeezebox 3 digital out crackling
Hi I have a squeezbox 3 which I have been using with no problems for the last 8 years. But now I have started to get white noise clicks and crackle from the digital coax output and no audio, when connected to my micromega DAC. and the dac can not sync propperly with the sb3 any more. I have tested the sb3 and dac with my minidisc machine and the DAC is fine but the sb3 wont sync propperly with the mini disc eather. I think the problem is related to a recent update. but its dificault to confirm because my linux server which I have been using the sb3 with has also died. and I am now running the SB server on my laptop at the moment. has anyone else had any problems with the digital output. or know of a solution to fix it. and if the SB3 has a hardware problem do anyone know where I can get it fixed. I'm afraid this is not a software issue: using firmware 137 (for a long time, upgrades are rare for SB3) on 7.6.2, I have no issue playing through digital out. The SB3 on my main system connects spdif out to a DAC (V-Dac). No problem at all. (I don't believe there is much practical difference between 7.7 and 7.6, when it comes to an SB3. Try a xilink reset ? Does it behave the same via it's analog out ?
