We'll fix the wrong display as fast as we can but we haven't really figured out whether it's a problem in the plugin or LMS. What happens is that the default information (MP3) is being used instead of the actual one (FLAC), probably a timing issue. I think it's a problem with LMS I faced when implementing FLAC streaming for WiMP, too. Somewhere deep inside LMS' streaming code it's initially using the file extension to guess the file type. Lack of extension it might fall back to mp3. I think I had to change my code to always return the correct extension. I think server_address is your local server, and squeezecenter_address is the Slim/Logitech server-in-the-cloud. Yes, it's fine for the IP to show 0.0.0.0 when mode is DHCP - I think it gets ignored. [slim] If I migrate from MSB to ickStream, how do I transfer my Favourites?
Hi all. This is a question I have been wondering about for a while in case MSB goes off-line permanently. The new ickStream alternative is looking very attractive. Now, I have several hundred streams saved in my Favourites page on MSB, and I see that these can be saved as an OPML file. However, is there an easy way of dragging and dropping this file into the equivalent page in ickStream? The thought of manually adding the streams one by one is something that fills me with a minor sense of dread. If there is a quick way of porting them over, then I think I will take the plunge. So, what can others suggest? Links to albums on music on demand services ?

We are working on a favorites service but currently the only kind of
favorites that are available in the open beta are the favorites you
setup in each music on demand service. So as an example, if you setup a
favorite in the official TIDAL app these will also automatically appear
in the ickStream menu.
It would probably be possible to create some kind of migration script
that can handle parts of the favorites automatically but we haven't
looked at this in detail yet.

You need only setup script with ip of server and mac from picoreplayer. I had to change the script for run every 2 sec 300 is to much, and my relay don't work normally, when i turn off LMS the relay is on ON and when i turn ON LMS relay is on OFF. just change end of script and work perfectly. No apostrophe's but did have spaces in the names (i.e. Player One,
Player Two). Maybe coincidence but I removed the spaces and also
removed ickstream.prefs in /plugin - accessToken in the original file
was garbled. Restarted everything and the devices, and Tidal, now
appear where needed and work.

Hey guys, I recently changed the script so it now works with the XPL plugin.. This makes the script more smooth and lightweight! It also now reacts instant! :-) To make the script run you'll need to install the xPL plugin in LMS. [slim] Parental controls for SiriusXM?
My kids love listening to SiriusXM, but I'm looking for a way to block the adult channels from them. There is a parental control setting within the app, but it is outdated. For example, it claims that it will block Playboy Radio, and this channel doesn't even exist anymore. I'm mainly concerned with blocking the Vivid channel, as this is highly inappropriate for 10-year-olds to be listening to. Unfortunately, since this is a newer channel, it is not blocked by the existing parental controls. I called up SiriusXM, and was shocked to learn that there is not even a way to block these channels from my account without switching to a family plan. This is not an option, since my wife and I would then lose Howard Stern and a lot of other channels we listen to.
