I quickly browsed and saw a 1.8 version for squeezelite there. The version on google code, which I downloaded and started up, reports 1.7. jimzak wrote: The Boom sounds better, particularly the low end. As was previously mentioned the bass response isn't too great. After all the Boom cost 2-3 times as much. $300 vs $200. Re: [slim] [ANNOUNCE] Music-Playback now on ANDROID! SqueezePlayer released to the market ...
Seems you have been finding a bug here. When the audio start delay is set on another Squeezebox, SqueezePlayer will not respect this indeed. Guess noone ever needed to set the audio start delay on a real Squeezebox, as their latencies are so low :) Do note, that the main synchronisation setting still is the audio delay, as it will overrule the audio start delay after some seconds of playback. Having said all this: after investigating all this today, I have a beta version of SqueezePlayer ready, where the audio start delay of other devices will be respected. Please write me an email to support(at)squeezeplayer.com and I can send you an *.apk. Did you know: *'SqueezePlayer' (www.squeezeplayer.com)* will stream all your music to your Android device.
