[slim] intercom feature?

[kllngtme]

I saw the post about the Touch having a built in microphone and
suggestions that one might be able to do an intercom type system if the
other squeezeboxes had a microphone as well. Has there been any work
done for this to implement it? Even if the feature is built just
exclusively for the Touches, I would implement the feature for sure!

Would there be a way to use the speaker in the radio as the microphone?

Other than trying to get this implemented with the Squeezebox, I guess
I'll be looking into cameras for my house with intercom features..

Nope, it appears in the MP3. All of the mp3s show up with artwork in
my iDevices.

Can you elaborate on "then opened SXM in a tab" where do you do that? 
On the Chromecast audio or squeezebox?  
Can you give more detailed directions?

It's been a while since we released a new VortexBox but I'm happy say
Vortexbox 2.4 is finally ready just in time for Christmas. This release
includes a lot of great work from this community and other open source
communities. The new features include

- Based on Fedora 23 64-bit. This is the first 64-bit VortexBox
- SqueezeBox Server 7.9.0 the latest release from the squeezebox
community
- MinimServer DLNA server
- Drive image based install for super quick installs to hard drives,
SSDs, mSATA, etc
- Latest PlexMedia Server to serve files to TVs, Roku, video devices,
etc.

and lots of other small updates and tweaks.

in a FLAC - I imagine its lost in the mp3 as I can't find any refrence

or whatever it's called ) having never done any Web programming it all
seems a bit of a black art but here is what I've tried with no success

control.queries. This will get you a lot of output, but hopefully some
information about your problem, too.

Wow - this is brilliant.

THis should be much more advertised. Installation on a Mac is as easy as

brew install mp3fs

and it works - it even let's other files pass through! Brilliant.

Thanks a million, I'll use it and some time in the next year update my
iTunes library with this!

For the "official app" way see cjfreitag's feedback above, in the
meantime you could login in the classicalradio site -> go to hardware
players -> copy each channel's address containing your hash key and
paste the links one by one to your lms Favourites respectively.
