Re: [slim] Walk with me
Thank you Michael for your constant support! Coming back to my earlier question, would it be feasible to implement in MWWM a "grab playlist and shut down" feature? Could you explain this again? Shut down what? -- Michael ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Alternatives to Squeezer Android app
Is it accessible from the Duet's Controller? If not, then most likely there's no app supporting it. Yes, it works fine on the Duet Controller. (I presume pippen's comment about Squeezeplay implies the same thing?) Oops... sorry about the noise. I confused the plugin with some old plugin Felix did in the SliMP3 days... -- Michael ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Re: [slim] Alternatives to Squeezer Android app
I don't have a Touch or Radio, so I couldn't say. What I can say is that it works just fine on SB2, SB3, Duet, Is it accessible from the Duet's Controller? If not, then most likely there's no app supporting it. Surely it's a server-side thing and should work on any player? While it is a server-side thing, the plugin would need to expose its menus to the player. The way menus are created changed a lot from the old players to the graphical devices. The old style menus can't be used on anything but the old players. -- Michael ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

What I can say is that it works just fine on SB2, SB3, Duet, Transporter, and Squeezelite on a Raspberry Pi. Surely it's a server-side thing and should work on any player? I certainly didn't need to install or even configure it for any new players I add to the network. [slim] Alternatives to Squeezer Android app
I'm a generally very happy user of the Squeezer Android app - it does pretty much all I want except for two minor things, so I'm looking for recommendations for another Android app that does much the same as Squeezer but also provides: 1. Access to the "Other Players" plugin. (Yes, I know it's an old plugin, but I like it). 2. Ability to switch digital inputs on the Transporter. Any suggestions?
