I assume you are trying crossfade. I have to look again at the code, but
you probably don't have enough samples in the playback buffer. Increase
outputbufsize. There was also a bug corrected a few month ago, but that
was related to gain application

Shame on me for not following my own thread. I updated my notification
settings, so will be more prompt in future replies.

Two networks, sort of. My (now five!) Squeezeboxes/n/m are all on a
separate network behind a Linksys router, but the Linksys is a client on
the Eero network for internet connectivity, so technically it's
double-NAT'd. Eero seems to handle double-NAT gracefully.

I have a Mac mini running LMS that bridges both networks so I can
control the SBs from iPeng or a browser, or iTunes with Shairtunes.

To Eero's credit, they've made many firmware updates since my original
post, and this is all supposed to just work now, but I haven't gone back
and taken the Linksys out and re-attached the SBs to the Eero network.
It ain't broke, so I'm leaving well enough alone for the time being. I
like my music. Radio Paradise in FLAC now!

Would love to know if folks are using Eeros with multiple SBs with
success in less wacky network setups than mine.

yeah ... I found the search capability somewhat limited also.
With IFTTT allowing only one text and one numeric variable within the
Google assistant hook, doing compound searches is tough.

I was able to use playlists to get a little more out of it ... for
example, the wife's favorite morning radio station is in a playlist that
she can call up.

However, the technology is just getting off the ground ... I suspect
that we'll see so much more in the near future.

[slim] Pandora ( & other streaming services) not working

2018-02-26 Thread btcompute

Since yesterday afternoon Pandora no longer appears in my LMS main
menu.
It was there and worked fine up until yesterday.

I have a Favorite set to one of the Pandora stations. It still appears
in Favorites menu, but does not run.
It shows up on the right side of the LMS screen, but if I click play
nothing happens.

My Pandora account works fine from a separate browser window, so my
account is still active.

Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Brilliant - that fixed it. Thanks!

The only issue I have is that there's no way of directing it to play a
specific version of a track. For example, if I ask it to play "Brown
Sugar" it will pick a random version from a live album, rather than the
one from Sticky Fingers that I want. Do you know of a way of directing
it to a specific album track? (e.g. "Hey Google, play Brown Sugar from
the album Sticky Fingers")

It works for me but I don't have a Squeezelite client.

[slim] Song transition does not work if seek to 10 sec before

2018-02-26 Thread Nirmal kushwah

If song seeks to 10 sec. before the end of the song, the song transition
does not work.

Reproduce:

Play track and seek ~10 sec before the ending
Wait for transition

LMS Version: Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1 - 1489743085
LMS Client: Squeezelite v1.8

Paul,

Yes, GPIO26 was defined as receiver PIN.

But as I said before, the IR reception works. As soon as I activate
LIRC, the touch function on the display doesn't work anymore.
I have no idea what the is connection beetween
