Hi-rez playback works! I have tried a variety of different files/sample rates that I was having trouble with before and haven't had any issues. So there was 'a bug in the flac *windows only* unicode handling' (https://github.com/xiph/flac/commit/a8e9857e389b2f5fb73a0148bb8238a2d8ada090) which is used for UNC paths and was fixed after the git snapshot we used.
