Re: [slim] One album shows up multiple times in listing
Have you done a "Clear library and rescan everything" rescan? Sometimes it's necessary. First, load one of the offending albums into Mp3tag and look at extended tags: select all > ALT + T. Are there are any tags you weren't expecting? [slim] One album shows up multiple times in listing
This has been going on for a while but I finally decided to ask this forum to see what am I doing wrong: I have a few albums from my library (which contains about 1,000 albums) that instead of showing up once in the albums listing, it shows twice, sometimes more. This shows up on the Web UI as well as other UIs (Materials, iPad app, etc). Each off these multiple showings has some of the tracks from that albums. I have checked the tags of the tracks using MP3tag to make sure that the Album, Album Artist, and Artist tags are the same and correct. But yet, for some reason, I think LMS thinks that some of the tracks contain different tag information than the other tracks (BTW, the album art is the same for each of the multiple listings). I have been wracking my brains (and my eyes) and cannot figure out why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated. dbinder101's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36997 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112183 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Tidal vs Qobuz? Your feedback on 16/44 FLAC listening experience on LMS
Spotify is fine in my car and in the kitchen, and Spotty is fantastic, but 320mp3 Spotify is not cutting it on my nicer listening system. I'd like to try some 16/44 FLAC streaming. Which of Tidal and Qobuz is the better overall experience through LMS? I know a few folks have tried both, and many have one or the other. I am more concerned about solid and reliable playback than I am about extras like seeing album art, but the ability to effectively search and browse the respective catalogs is important. Does one service (plugin) or the other generally work better with LMS, or are they essentially equal from LMS usage and function perspective? - plugin Stability? (plugin crashes / disconnects / buffering dropouts, etc) - plugin Usability? (access to service, search / browse functionality via LMS web UI, etc) - Can either of the services be driven from their own app through LMS, or does one use the LMS UI to find and queue songs? - both plugins still actively maintained? Are the respective APIs stable or "moving targets" like Spotify is? Context: I am typically listening via a Transporter, driving via the Material Skin UI on a phone in the western US. Thanks for any feedback here, I'm trying to decide between the two services. Wondering which I should test out first. dwc's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1892 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112179 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
