Thanks but I can not locate AFT on Play Store - is it short for
something?

If you just need a 1:1 copy: 'syncthing' (https://syncthing.net/)
For more complex scenarios, 'AFT'

[slim] Squeezebox running on Netgear ReadyNas unable to run Tidal

2020-06-14 Thread TimothyPJ

Hi,

I am using Squeezebox touch with a ReadyNas duo as the media server. I
have successfully installed the Logitech Media Server on the readyNas as
an add on. The problem is that I cannot access Tidal (to which I
subscribe) when using the readyNas, I can only stream files from the
readyNas storage. If I connect the Squeezebox to my desktop PC running
Logitech Media Server Tidal is available along with any media files
stored on my network. I an absolute beginner in networking so I would be
grateful for any help.I want to be able to run my Squeezebox without
having my PC turned on as it is noisy and uses a lot of power. I think
it is possible to access the readyNas and add something called
ickStream to the Logitech Media Server but I don't know if this is what
I need to do and I have no clue how to go about it. I would really
appreciate it is anyone who knows how to fix this could walk me through
it step by step. Thanks very much for reading this.

I've been told I need to reply to a thread before I can ask a question.
That is the only reason for this comment. Thank you.

I have seen rsync wrapper on google play store, so was thinking if that
is on my phone whether that could sync with a server running rsync
(which has the music folder) - wondering if anyone has thoughts on
whether this might work automatically?

I've not seen anything that automatically syncs LMS music to an android
phone. For me it's always been a manual process. I know Orange Squeeze
has the ability to download music from LMS to the phone, but it's not
automatic.

[slim] Music Folder Offline Squeezer App

2020-06-14 Thread tannaroo

Hi, I have managed to get LMS working on my laptop with my music folder
on that laptop. I can control/play no problems using the Squeezer app on
my Android phone.

Is it possible that I can also sync my music folder to my android phone
so that i can play my music when I am not on my network (e.g going for a
run) but it keeps the music folder updated on my phone (e.g. when I add
new music)?
