[slim] Providing Pi System-Audio as Shoutcast Stream
Hi! I have a bunch of computers at home. From my two Windows Workstations, I can take the system audio (e.g. from Kodi, Youtube and such) and send it to my Squeezeboxes via Icecast (I use a software called BUTT for that, it collects the system audio and sends it to a local Icecast installation, see https://sourceforge.net/projects/butt/). I'd like to do the same from my Raspberry-Pi based media center, running Kodi. I'd like to take the Kodi-audio-output (or any output from that Raspberry PI actually) and send it to my Squeezeboxes, so I can listen to what's running in the living room in the whole apartment. How would I do that? Is there a similar tool to butt for Raspbian? Re: [slim] Looking for a place to repair my Transporter
Back in black. Thanks to Johannes Franke who recommended I try replacing the two smoothing capacitors on the 5V supply. $4 and I'm back to listening. For those who may not know Joe he has a blog with a lot of great information about the Transporter, Classic and the Touch. I do not have it installed and it doesn't appear in the list of plugins in the web interface. Where do I find it? Take care of your tongue. It is in a wet place and can easily slip. Re: [slim] Information browser

I guess the issue is linked to most RSS switching to https and a missing skin template / css for https - Using Radios, the Infobrowser is available under the menu "Extras". However the radios forget this menu item after having been switched on for some time. After rebooting the menu item is back again. I guess this an unrelated issue frankd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=52885 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114883 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
