I get the same thing. [slim] Cannot open file error resolved
I don't know if anyone else is having this probem, but ever since I updated to the 7.4 version of SC, I had a problem with 'Cannot open File' errors. I believe that I have finally figured it out. The problem is that I have a wireless N network at home and I had my SB on a 40Mz channel, instead of the standard 20Mz channel. I was playing around with this setting for other purposes, and as I was switching back and forth between channels, at the 40Mz channel, the problem always cropped up. I suppose this could also have something to do with my router, which is the Netgear WNDR3700, but I am glad to have this problem behind me. Regalma1, as another solution as to when things start up, I would suggest to not have SC automatically start up with Windows. After the system comes up and your drives are connected, then start SC manually and make sure that this really is your problem.
