I will poke around the router settings to look for UDP filtering.

I can't find a way to open settings in Squeeze Commander ... ?

Re: [slim] [ANNOUNCE] SqueezeCommander 0.9 for Android

2016-04-28 Thread JohnQCitizen

I've replaced my router, and since then I cannot get Squeeze Commander
to recognize my two Squeezeboxen. I have LMS running on my PC, and LMS
recognizes both players, and using Squeezer app it will recognize both
players and LMS and stream tunes.

But Squeeze Commander does not recognize any players, and only shows
"MySqueezebox.com" (which gets connected), and there's a "No player
selected" status message.

I assume that Squeeze Commander scans the network for servers, but is
not finding any. Not sure why, my PC has a reserved address and LMS is
running. Maybe a router issue not letting Squeezebox do a search?

On each player I had to manually set the library address, not sure that
I've done that before which makes me think something is suspect with
discovering servers.

Kinda stuck here ...

Of course ... can't believe I forgot about that setting.

Thanks.

Re: [slim] Android 4.2: any controllers work on it?

2012-11-18 Thread JohnQCitizen

I've got a Nexus 7 running 4.2 and the Logitech Squeezebox app works
fine for me, controlling 2 x Squeezebox 3 and 1 x Squeezebox Touch.

Re: [slim] [ANNOUNCE] SqueezeCommander 0.9 for Android

2012-11-18 Thread JohnQCitizen

I installed Squeezecommander app on my Nexus 7 tablet yesterday, running
Android 4.2. I have 2 x Squeezebox 3 and 1 x Squeezebox Touch, connected
to Logitech Media Server 7.7.2.

I can adjust the volume of both SB3s, but not for the Touch. The volume
slider appears for the SB3 devices, but not for the Touch. This occurs
on both the device list page and the 'now playing' page.

However I can adjust the volume of all three devices with the free
Logitech app.

Any suggestions?
