Hey Michael, I'd like to commend you on your timing on fixing this issue.. Yesterday I had finally gotten around to attempting to set up SlimNAS on a box that I had installed FreeNAS on several months ago, and ran into this very issue of the library scanning. I was only getting 2 albums before it would konk out.. Anyway, that is fixed, and using squeezecenter-7.01 the scan went through fine in a matter of minutes.. Happy happy joy joy.. ;)
