[slim] Scala Radio premium channel URL
Hi Guys, Has anyone managed to find a way of accessing the new Scala Premium channel on LMS? This is a subscription service that plays Scala Radio without the commercials. Ahh, Paul you are a star! Upgrade to 8.0.1 was clean & simple and works like a dream now - all Global stations coming through load & clear. Did not need the proxy so will leave building that for another day! ---- Phil08's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21892 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113271 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

I'm running LMS v7.9.3 on a windows7 NUC - had assumed that was the latest version as it was Logitech supported but see that there is now a ver 8.X, is it worth upgrading and will it require a rebuild or will it take the previous 7.9.3 settings? What is the advantage with Proxy Streaming? It was my assumption that the individual players requested the radio feeds and the LMS server did not play much part in the radio services. Whilst setting up the various radio stations from within my home automation setup I only set the stations (via Telnet command) direct to each required player and don't touch the LMS. ---- Phil08's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21892 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113271 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Global Radio Stations
staresy wrote: > They have all mysteriously come back OK now, will monitor and if it > recurs/persists I'll post more details as above. Hi, how are you managing with the Global feeds? I have had intermittent coverage for a while and now they seem to have gone for good. This is really weird though as I can copy the station URI into a browser (any of the main ones) and all works well. I can also select ClassicRelax station from RadioNet plugin and ad to favourites and it works. however, if you cut & paste it into another favourite selection it fails to work, are there further parameters that are stored in the favourite selection that are not disclosed in the Edit feature? This is really doing my head in as Classic FM is the most listened to station but am now unable to receive it. If this persists then the WAF (wife acceptance factor) will plummet and maybe forced to another solution! -------- Phil08's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21892 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113271 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] blank display on SB after 7.3 Update
Hi, I get the same effect as well. The display on my SB2 is very dim (just the VU bars on the RHS visible with brightness at maximum). All working fine until 7.3 upgrade this morning. SB1 and Duet seem ok and everything else on the SB2 works, just cannot se the display. Running on w2K3 SP2. -- Phil08 Phil08's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21892 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=56415 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] blank display on SB after 7.3 Update
Hi, Just a quick update. The Blank screen on the SB3 (not SB2 as i said before in error) is sorted during a downgrade to 7.2.1. Tried a couple of upgrades and new installs to 7.3 but each time the SB3 remains blank. Now sitting on 7.2.1 without AlienBBC :-( -- Phil08 Phil08's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21892 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=56415 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
