Thanks for your efforts. Having playback is well worth waiting for and
i'm sure you'll fix it through as soon as you can.

 Just a glitch ;)

Re: [slim] iPeng vs. SqueezePad

2010-11-08 Thread PietB

I use them both, Ipeng and Squeezepad has their own fine advantages.

Now since today I use a usb-stick 32 Gb and Ipeng find automatically
the squeezebox server of the USB, Squeezepad don't ?
(or am I doing something wrong ? )

And do you know perhaps how to upgrade from 7.5.2 to 7.6 nightly build
for the tinysb server ?

I believe you'd need to install an external server (7.6), e.g. on a PC,
and connect the touch to it. It will then ask to update to the latest
7.6 FW and there you go.
You should not connect it to MySB afterwards (or it will ask to install
7.5.1 again) but you can connect it back to itself.

You're right, I remember now; I read about it somewhere. (so much info
on the forums)

SqueezePad indeed - currently - needs you to configure your
server-address manually once. But that's not too complicated, one has
just to lookup the values from the Squeezebox. There is also a short
tutorial about that on my website FAQ (http://www.squeezepad.com/faq/)

Anyway - we currently just need to wait for Apples review, than
SqueezePad will find the server automatically too.

Ok thanks, got it ! And of course waiting for the update

Re: [slim] ANNOUNCE: iPeng for iPad - Your Squeezebox Remote Gets Big

2010-10-20 Thread PietB

So I made a few folder.jpg's size 768x768 and deleted the old 300x300.
In SB server I used the option delete collection and a new scan for the
collection.

However still see the old artwork when playing, is it a directory I
have to delete manually ?

Kind of similar to how the windows start menu works.
