Did you enable show all 3rd party plugins ? Do you see other 3rd party plugins or is PlayWMA the only one that is missing ? LMS 7.7.2 - r33893 Windows Vista Show all 3rd party plugins is enabled. A long list of Recommended and Other 3rd party plugins are available. PlayWMA is not one of them. I should add that i do not know that PlayWMA ever was available as i only began trying to problem solve why i can't stream WEXP yesterday. Tx. Re: [slim] KEXP uncompressed
bpa wrote: The KEXP stream is non standard. It looks like a WMA stream but it is not as the audio is not encoded with MS WMA encoding. The PlayWMA plugin uses Mplayer to play WMA stream for those players which do not have a WMA decoder (e.g. Squeezeplay). Mplayer has the added benefit of understanding the non standard KEXP stream and so after processing by Mplayer, LMS can passes a transcoded version ofthre KEXP stream. On Windows LMS provides a utility to support playing WMA on players that do have a WMA decoders. The supplied utility (which calls MS libraries to handle WMA streams) cannot decode the KEXP as it is non standard WMA stream and not recognised by the MS libraries. I have: - downloaded mplayer-win32-mingw-dev-svn20061001.exe - place the above in Program Files/SlimServer/Server, and opened it there - opened the mplayer folder and placed the mplayer application in: Program Files/SlimServer/Server - tried KEXP with both SlimServerWebInterface/Files Types/Windows Media/Windows Media/ Inactive and Native. No music. What have i done wrong? Tx. Re: [slim] Problem with iTunes playlists
Headworx;182237 Wrote: Hi, over the last 10 days I tried (I think) all suggestions posted here, yet my itunes-based playlists remain empty. They are ok within iTunes, Slimserver displays them, it also shows the music (below albums, artists and so on), but playlists remain empty. Slimserver is the latest (6.5.1 I believe) and iTunes are the latest version as well. Any ideas what to check or how to debug this? Cheers, Headworx Hi Headworx. - Open iTunes - Select one of the Playlists that is showing up as empty in ss - Make sure that the songs listed are not preceded by an (!) - If they are, go to the File menu -- Add Folder to Library --- and re-add your My Music folder.
