[slim] adding laptop question
Hi My original setup is Imac upstairs+Squeezebox downstairs. Works fine Now I have a new laptop. I want to experiment with choosing my music from the laptop, not the squeezebox. [slim] adding laptop
Hi Have had slim on Imac for a while. Have new Mac laptop, used downstairs. I want to use it in a different the normal way I have my Imac setup with my slim. Basically, for the laptop, I want to use my slim only as a wifi router. Itunes allows music sharing between 2 computers. So I want to experiment with making the selection of music from the laptop, and have it be wireless to the stereo, thru my slim device (it is the wireless one). So I would DJ out of the laptop not the slim display. is this confusing? Hi Im cant seem to figure out how to neatly organize my Favorite Internet Stations. It seems that even though I hit Favorites on my remote, some of them dont stay as favorites. I have tried to organize them from the computer but I get error messages. 2 days ago, I played the squeeze, fine no problem. Now, no sound from the speakers. Squeeze was working fine for weeks. Seems to work and operate but no sound out of speakers. Speakers are well connected because I hear music ok when in TUNER mode. Squeeze is connecteded and seems to play but no sound. I have tried all the modes on the stereo.
