[slim] Unable to get Alien BBC and Live 365 to work.
I am still unable to get BBC alien and Live 365 to work on my squeeze box. Through slimserver live365 comes up every time saying live365 website error, try again and the Alien BBC, after checking a stream says can't connect to retrieve playlist I am running windows XP and have slimserver 6.5.4. Correct it comes up can't connect to retrieve playlist Although slim picks does work on the network side. 1. Norton password manager is running as is zone alarm but i have switched the zone alarm firewall off as this was the only way i could get sb to work. I am using windows firewall. 2. Broadband from virgin into house into external modem into belkin n1 router into pc. 3. Tried another station in slim picks and it works. As a test i removed zone alarm, and the problems with 365 and bbc are still there. No timestraps. No its a belkin n1. Standalone test did work. Do you mean did i test all of the stations and the archers during the standalone test? If so, no but it did play what ever i selected. I have recently downloaded slimserver and alien bbc 1.06 to run my new SB.
