No she doesn't. The server screen has no song listings. I use my iTunes library from my MacBook via a SpeedTouch wireless router as I would normally, using the SB3 remote. Since I left the remote behind I remember reading about folks using their iPod touches as a remote for Squeezeboxes, which is why I purchased iPeng, but I must be missing something. Should the iPeng touch turn on the SB, or do I still need the remote for that? [slim] SB3 power socket loose, U.K. repairs?
My beloved SB3 (Slim Devices wireless version) has a problem, I first noticed a loose connection at the psu input socket not long after purchase, and contacted Slim Devices. I didn't pursue it any further as the unit was powering up o.k. but since I have unplugged it often to use it in different locations the socket is now unusable and the plastic insert has broken and fallen into the unit. I had always assumed it was a fault with the psu itself and replaced it. Annoyingly the SB has been fine but now a small broken piece of plastic prevents me from using it. [slim] Squeezebox 3 won't play needledrops....
...I use Amadeus Pro to store AIFF 24bit/44.1 needledrops on my MacBook. I then convert them to Apple Lossless in iTunes, and then make a playlist for the SB3, but if I use shuffle mode on the SB3 and one of them comes along I get a horrendous continuous digital clack-clack sound, what have I done wrong? Apologies for the vagueness, maybe I am misunderstanding the thread, it was the only one I could find that seemed to be addressing my problem. My issue is that when connecting my SB3 to my DAC via co-axial digital the stereo channels are reversed, therefore the soundstage is the wrong way around, and I don't know how to correct them. Could it be an issue with the DAC? Yes, the amp and DAC are separate, I will try and reverse the digital co-ax cable, at work at the moment, I think SC should be the latest version, I'll check that when I get back too, thanks. [slim] SB3 faulty power supply?
Sometimes the power supply plug that goes into the back of the SB is a bit 'flaky' and doesn't seem to connect properly. My SB3 is a Slim Devices branded one not the newer Logitech version and it's over a year old so I don't know what to do, any suggestions? [slim] SB3 keeps stopping after a couple of hours........
Slimserver and AirPort are both running, but 'player not found' is showing. I am using 6.5.4 and firmware 81, do I maybe need to update? The SlimServer won't start up, I press the 'start server' button then it stops after 10 seconds, so I can't get any further. everything was fine until this morning using 6.5.2, on my Intel MacBook using Camino browser, the SB3 displayed 'waking up slimserver' but then just went off.
